I’m Evelin!

About

I’m a passionate teacher and a technology fan, so teaching online is just about paradise for me! I’ve been teaching English -and other subjects- for 15 years (I’m not old yet, I just started really young!) in different countries -I LOVE travelling- and in various settings, including primary and secondary schools, tertiary institutions, teaching Business English in companies and, of course, online, where I have taught over 1500 lessons since 2018, to students from 35 different nationalities!!!

My most recent role was as the Programme Leader of the ESL department in a New Zealand College, where students came from many different countries, which made me even more interested in different cultures and in the approaches needed for teaching people from various backgrounds. I’m a trained teacher, and I’m also CELTA certified -which I got through the University of Auckland-, and I have experience with all age groups.

I specialise in Differentiated Instruction, so to put it in simple words, I love developing personalised lessons for my students and I enjoy helping them learn the way THEY like to learn, which usually results in really engaging classes and high levels of motivation for both of us! To me, it’s really important that you feel comfortable during the lesson so that we can make the most out of it, so I’m quite easy going and relaxed!
