Here you will find information about each course, in order to decide which one is the best for you. Remember we will create a learning plan together so whatever course you choose, I will tailor it to suit your specific interests, goals and needs!

JOB INTERVIEW PREPARATION

My interview preparation lessons help you confidently prepare for job interviews in English, with personalised guidance at every step. The number of lessons depends on your goals, language level, and specific needs, ensuring that each session is uniquely tailored for you. Most of my students take between 3 and 10 lessons to prep for their interviews.

What We Focus On:

    • Personal Profile: Learn how to clearly introduce yourself, your professional background, and future career aspirations.
    • Background & Experience: Practise explaining your education, work experience, and key accomplishments with fluency.
    • Behavioural Questions: Master techniques like the STAR method to respond effectively to behavioural questions such as, “Tell me about a time you worked under pressure.”
    • Common Interview Questions: We cover frequently asked questions like “Why are you interested in this position?” while emphasising strategies for giving thoughtful, confident answers.

Tailored Lessons & Focus on Strategies:
I do not provide industry-specific answers or memorised responses. Instead, I will share strategies and useful phrases that can be adapted to different interview contexts, helping you stay flexible and confident during your interview.

Flexible Scheduling:
We choose the time and days of your lessons based on both your availability and mine.. Scheduling is done easily through an online booking system, allowing you to pick the best times for your sessions each week. If you’d like a fixed time for your lessons, let me know and I will try to accommodate it.

Remedial English Support:
Please note you need to have at least a B1 – Intermediate level in English to take these lessons. During our lessons, I will offer remedial English support, focusing on improving grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation to make sure you sound polished and professional in your interviews, and you may have some homework to do in this area if necessary!

Pricing & Cancellations:
$75 per online lesson of 55′. Lessons are delivered on Zoom, all material is provided by me, you just need to send me your CV.

  • You can cancel or re-schedule your lesson provided you give at least 24 hours’ notice.

GETTING READY FOR IELTS

There are different ways of getting ready for IELTS. Depending on your level and how much you have to prepare before you take the exam, you may need a lot of hard-work and discipline to get the results you need. I absolutely love teaching IELTS, and I am very selective about which students I accept for exam preparation; if you’re really motivated and are ready to work hard as part of a team with me, then I’ll be happy to help you!

A) Prepare all IELTS sections

Take a full course to get ready for IELTS. Whether you have taken the exam before or it’s your first time, I will explain each part in detail, provide tips for getting higher scores and help you improve all your skills.

B) Prepare a specific section

I specialise in Writing and Speaking. Many students are able to prepare their Listening and Reading tests alone, but need some extra help when it comes to the other skills, and this is exactly what this course focuses on, you can choose to work on both Speaking and Writing, or just one of them.

  • Learn to organise your speaking so that it gets you a higher score.

C) SPEAKING MOCK TEST

These are shorter lessons meant for students who are close to their exam dates and have already studied but need or would like to rehearse the Speaking test.

  • 25′ lessons
  • Rehearse Parts 1, 2 and 3, just like in the real exam!
  • Practice IELTS most current and popular topics.
  • Get specific feedback and tips for improvement at the end of each lesson.
  • Students usually take 3 to 5 of these lessons before their exams.

  • Comprehensive General Spanish Course.
  • Focus on all aspects of the language: vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening, reading and writing.
  • It can be structured around a syllabus or book, specifically chosen for you or designed by me according to your needs.
  • You will be speaking Spanish every class!
  • Materials include interactive online exercises, interactive online documents, dialogues, listening exercises, interactive PDFs, visual presentations, and more!
  • I specialise in Beginner, Elementary and Pre-intermediate levels! If you are an absolute beginner, this course is for you, too!

ENGLISH/SPANISH FOR TRAVEL

  • This short course (5 to 10 lessons) is aimed at beginner through intermediate students who will be travelling soon
  • Learn or brush up the most useful vocabulary and expressions needed for a trip!
  • Practice listening and speaking in the most common travel situations, such as arriving at the airport, ordering a meal in a restaurant, and asking for directions!

ACCENT REDUCTION

  • Focus intensively on pronunciation skills.
  • After I assess your needs, we will work on individual sounds you need to improve, and for more advanced students, we can focus on other features of the spoken language, such as sentence stress and intonation.
  • The goal is to ensure you sound absolutely clear!
  • You can take this course in combination with your General English or Conversation lessons.

FOCUS ON SKILLS

  • Focus on the particular skill or skills you’d like to improve: listening, reading, writing or speaking.
  • Course tailored to your needs.
